Kelly Project Completed!

This project went great and it went fast.  Easy removal and easy to paint. We took care of all the little things that creep up without incident and the ceilings turned out just how we wanted them too!

Kelly Home in Dr. Phillips

The removal went very well and we will be painting the lids very soon.  The project has been a great success so far and we have had no major problems.  Some tape in the bathroom is heavily damaged but that can be expected in those type of damp areas. The peak of course needed the most repairs on the tape because some of it was falling off and some of the bead with the metal inside was warping.  We had to cut that to make it flat again and stick mud behind it.  The knockdown turned out very good.

Dusty’s Removal By UCF

I will be posting pictures of this one pretty soon.  I had just one room to do and it was pretty easy.  Dusty got a great deal on a condo by UCF and wanted to have the popcorn removed.  He called a few contractors but liked my price best.  I wasn’t the cheapest but at the same time, I gave him a fare price based on just one room and 3 hours of my time.  The ceiling was not painted so the removal came of with ease.  We covered a few nail pops and a hole that krept up into the ceiling from a previous leak.  We then applied an apartment style knockdown since that is what his unit used to be.  Now it looks like a brand new room and i am sure it will look great once it is painted.  The only hiccup was a small paint peel when removing the plastic from the walls.

Popcorn Removal Bid in Orlando

While looking at a project for some new home owners in the bay hill area, the neighbors next door asked us to look at their project.  Needles to say, we where awarded the first project that we looked and will start that on Monday.  We also submitted a bid to the neighbors and they got back to us as well with a few questions, so hopefully that is some good news.  We will post some pictures of the removal that we were awarded.   Hopefully this is a better year then last year with all the buyers getting resale houses loaded with popcorn in them!

More bids!

I looked at a two projects today. One in the Conway area, and the other off of Jamestown.  The Conway home has a peak ceiling at 16′ tall but everything else is about 8 feet tall. It is all non painted. The Altamonte Springs bid is all 8 feet but i believe that the majority of the room is painted with the exception of the small room.  Ill put a post on the updates for this project.
